Palestina Animada es un proyecto de cine de animación palestino que presenta un programa de cortometrajes y largometrajes, principalmente de cineastas de Palestina, desde Cisjordania, Gaza y la diáspora internacional que se extiende por todo el mundo. El programa engloba una mezcla de películas profesionales y películas realizadas en diversos talleres en la Palestina ocupada, como los cortometrajes hechos por niños y niñas en talleres realizados por Haneen Karaz y su equipo en medio del bloqueo y genocidio en curso en Gaza.
Del Colectivo Palestina Animada: "Nuestro deseo es ayudar a llevar diferentes expresiones de arte animado por y sobre Palestina en nuestras películas a una audiencia más amplia. Durante el genocidio en curso sobre el pueblo palestino, sentimos la necesidad de unirnos en apoyo de los demás como una comunidad de artistas, creando vínculos más fuertes entre nosotros y nosotras a pesar de las fracturas del exilio y la separación por parte de la ocupación. Las opiniones personales de los diferentes miembros del grupo pertenecen únicamente a sí mismos.”
Animated Palestine is a Palestinian animation film project that presents a program of short and feature films, primarily by Palestinian filmmakers from the West Bank, Gaza, and the international diaspora around the world. The program encompasses a mix of professional films and films made in various workshops in occupied Palestine, such as the short films made by children in workshops run by Haneen Karaz and her team amidst the ongoing blockade and genocide in Gaza.
From the Animated Palestine Collective: "Our desire is to help bring different expressions of animated art by and about Palestine to a wider audience. During the ongoing genocide against the Palestinian people, we felt the need to unite in support of one another as a community of artists, creating stronger bonds between us despite the fractures of exile and the separation imposed by the occupation. The personal opinions of the different members of the group belong solely to themselves."

Cristina Andreu ha trabajado como directora y guionista de cortometrajes y largometrajes, nominada al Goya por la película "Brumal". Trabaja durante años en Canal + como realizadora. Directora de programas en LOCALIA T.V. Ha sido responsable de Comunicación en la Junta Directiva de Médicos del Mundo. Ha rodado documentales de zonas en conflicto, Goma (Campos de refugiados del éxodo de Ruanda), Bosnia, Chiapas. Fue una de las fundadoras de CIMA (Asociación de mujeres cineastas y del Audiovisual) y su presidenta desde 2018 hasta el 2024. Actualmente está finalizando el documental "Las tres vidas de Carlos Slepoy".
Cristina Andreu has worked as a director and screenwriter of short and feature films, and was nominated for a Goya Award for the film "Brumal." She worked for years as a director at Canal+. She was also a program director at Localia TV. She served as Head of Communications for the Board of Directors of Doctors of the World. She has filmed documentaries in conflict zones, including Goma (refugee camps from the Rwandan exodus), Bosnia, and Chiapas. She was one of the founders of CIMA (Association of Women Filmmakers and Audiovisual Professionals) and its president from 2018 to 2024. She is currently finishing the documentary "The Three Lives of Carlos Slepoy."
